Hagley Park is a stunning place to be any time of the year, but particularly so during Autumn with its mature oak trees putting on a display.

About Christchurch
Christchurch is the largest city in New Zealand's South Island. It lies on the Canterbury Plains with views of the mountain range called the Southern Alps. Though flat the city also has hill suburbs nestled in what are called the 'Port Hills'. The total population is around 338,748. The city is well renowned for its many parks and gardens, including Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens.Archives

To someone who has seen “colours” in trees live about four times in five decades, this is a great shot. Sorry I didn’t mean that to sound backhanded, rather that it’s more than just a picture for me, it brings back all sorts of great memories!
I love the slant of the light in autumn. You really captured the glow on the leaves. I am watching the leaves unfurl for spring in my town.
