A promo today - for The Human Rights Film Festival which opens tonight in Christchurch and goes until the 30th of May. Get along and show your support for Human Rights. It’s at the Regent on Worcester and here’s a link to the Christchurch schedule of films.
First Settlers Plaque

These marble plaques are in Cathedral Square. They have the names of the people who arrived on the first four ships that settled Christchurch. The first ship, the Charlotte Jane, departed Plymouth Sound, England in 1850. The remaining three ships were The Randolph, The Cressy, and The Sir George Seymour.
