About Christchurch
Christchurch is the largest city in New Zealand's South Island. It lies on the Canterbury Plains with views of the mountain range called the Southern Alps. Though flat the city also has hill suburbs nestled in what are called the 'Port Hills'. The total population is around 338,748. The city is well renowned for its many parks and gardens, including Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens.Archives

Nice looking corner building. My guess is that it is early morning: weak sun, not many people about yet.
