I just love your photos. Here in Auckland, we have Western Springs.
In 2000, whilst we were still living in Singapore, we came back with our kids for a holiday. We stayed at the Top Ten’s family park. In most parks, there were ducks, and my city slicker kids fed the ducks. It was only in Christchurch that we saw th esign saying,”Please do not feed the ducks.”
I like your photos, but I have a doubt about your spelling. How must I write the name of a little swan, I mean a young one ? My English master taught me (seventy years ago) to write cygnet, from greek kyknos and latin cycnus. Was he right ? Or am I in a state of senile decay ? Help me ! It’s hard for an old Frenchman to learn English, a fortiori Kiwenglish

I wasn’t sure of the spelling, I think you might be right though!
