Monarch Butterfly

I’m starting to see a few Monarch butterflies around. This one was in the same Kowhai tree as the Chaffinch bird I photographed.

    Beautiful shot Michelle!!! The colors are perfect…the Bokeh effect in the depth of field…the fabulous close up capture!!! WOW!!!

    Very pretty butterfly, though I did not know you got them in NZ, thought they were in US.
