Manchester Courts Rubble

A poster still hanging in a room demolished when they brought down the Manchester Courts on Manchester Street. Rather a dramatic photo snapped by my other half during his Christmas shopping in the city. He recently purchased the Sony NEX 5 (it’s pretty darn cool) and I have already started requisitioning his photos! We are now very much a Sony household!

I’ve just been told that I needed to add some ‘context’ to the first photo, so here is the bigger picture of the Manchester Courts. You can see the room with the poster on the 3rd story on the far right. What a mess.

Amazing shot, there’s something especially touching about seeing the art and things people loved amidst the rubble.
I saw this at the Robertsons Bakery site in Victoria Street, a beautiful Egon Schiele print.
