Sailing on the MV Tuhoe
A few weeks back I took some photos of the Tuhoe in Kaiapoi – I had hoped to go for a sail on the ship but the trip was cancelled due to high winds. But today, I got to go out on the Tuhoe. It departs from the wharf at Kaiapoi and sails down the Kaiapoi River to the mouth of the Kaiapoi (where it also joins with the Waimak river). It was a lovely day out and very good weather (this time!).
