Today, I went back to City Mall with the photo club. This time I decided to do some ‘artistic’ photos. I’ve focused on the not so obvious – what lies behind the cordon or in some cases right beside it and within our view (such as the broken down shops on Colombo Street).

Spotted on a wall on Colombo street near The Colombo shopping centre (opposite it actually). Quite symbolic and I do indeed believe Christchurch will rise again like the Phoenix – it’s started already and I am looking forward to checking out the new container shipping shopping precinct tomorrow.
