Trees on the Port Levy Saddle, Banks Peninsula

Published by on February 6, 2012 under Nature 2 Comments

The Port Levy Saddle is a stunning spot on the road to Port Levy on the Banks Peninsula. The trees are so windswept some of them are very much on a lean. On one side of the saddle there was sunshine and blue sky and the other side was all misty and interesting, which meant I was running back and forth in the paddock snapping away quite happily.

And here is a shot looking down into the Bay. This is a stunning place with views everywhere you look. If you’ve not been for a drive there lately (or at all) then I encourage you to get out and take a look. It’s a very special spot.
