New Building on Victoria Street
This is a new building on Victoria Street – down by the Bealey Avenue corner. I’ve been watching it go up for a few months now. Really not sure what to think. I think there are two more buildings designed to go with it on either side, so think I’ll reserve my judgement until then.

I’m hoping this is not the best we have to offer in the rebuild of Christchurch. Close up it’s got some interesting architectural detail but from a distance it’s a bit blah
I’ve seen the architectural plans for the corner of Victoria Street and am hopeful that once the other buildings are in place it will look much better.
