Waxeye in the Garden

I haven’t see many wax eyes about of late, but they seem to have come back to the garden in full force now. This one and a few of his friends, were very interested in the wild fennel that is growing in our back yard.

Lovely shots of the little creature, especially love the first shot.
It was a lucky shot – as these birds move really quickly. I got a lot of out of focus ones, so very pleased a couple were in focus. I didn’t notice the spider web until I downloaded the photo – gives it a nice touch I think!
I love that shot Michelle! Such a pretty little bird.
