Graffiti

graffiti-christchurch.jpg

Today is a theme day – Graffiti. I took this photo standing on the Waltham Overbridge on Waltham Road. It looks down to the railway tracks and the concrete wall beside the tracks is covered in graffiti – most of it quite artistic. Not sure how long the burnt out car has been there, but it’s certainly be there long enough to be completely covered in Graffiti (even the tyre to the left has not missed the spray can).

There are currently 144 blogs participating in this theme day:

This is a great photo of an amazing scene. Very colourful and very dramatic, too, with the car.

Wow I really like your photograph! Good catch and good choice!

    Cheers!

Thanks Lachezar, looking forward to seeing your theme day. I imagine there will be some interesting graffiti up your way!

Graffiti on the car is an improvement. Not sure it is an improvement for the wall. I like how your photo included the car as a subject.

the burnt-out car is a sad indictment of times and regrettably commonly seen the world over.

That’s incredibly dramatic. The car makes it, for the graffiti itself is rather boringly predictable (not your fault!) – but what a foreground and backdrop! Terrific photo – congrats.

    Wow! What colour!

I didn’t even notice the burn out car until I read your commentary 😀

Great, like an explosion. Well seen and I like the rotten car in front, it fits well.

    Love the colors, great choice.

Nice picture. The car in the front certainly adds to the desolate scene.

The colors on the all are great, not sure about the poor car though.

Very colorful art, and such an amazing photo!

Nice colors and even the wreck was not spared 🙂 there is no surface left uncovered.

Me second to, Lachezar. I love this photograph.

Do you know where is this graffiti?
One that one of our MP paid for commission.

That’s a wonderful photo! Love that the wall has images as well as the car.

Happy Theme Day! May I invite you to visit Norwich Daily Photo?

I like this one. It looks like a real graffiti-battleground.

Hmm I was wondering.. If all the paint were sprayed on the car, that car could look very good! hehe..

    Happy Theme Day!

That is graffiti. It is quite the set there. Marvelous photograph, taking it all in with the myriad colors. Here is my CDP: Street Art entry (too late for the list). Thank you.
