Cathedral Square – Tilt Shift

square-title

Taken from the top of the Cathedral bell tower. I’ve applied a tilt shift filter to it, which I’m starting to play around with.

    This looks like a model!
Interesting focus – I guess that’s the filter you mention …

It’s brilliant! I’m excited to see a tilt shift pic of our Square
I had a go on a photo I took in Wellington and liked how people can become little dolls as well as buildings becoming models.

It has that model effect, I think enhanced by the “toy” trams in the picture … a snapshot that peter parker would be proud of 🙂

The tilt shift filer adds a very creative effect, combined with the fact the square is so clean makes it look very much like a model village, I agree the trams enhance the picture even more.

  • This scene is so perfect that at first I thought it was an architectural model. I see from the comments that I’m not theonly one. Beautiful place.

Hi Aaron, thanks for dropping by. This is one of my favourite pics of Christchurch, and I too hope that some day Christchurch will be just as good if not even better than what I saw that day..
