Snapped on a rainy day on the Rapaki Track. That’s a rather impressive amount of fleece on this sheep. I also have to wonder if it’s about to drop some lambs? If so, it would be a bit late in the season. Share this:FacebookPinterestTumblrGoogleLike this:Like Loading... Not that I am any kind of expert, but if I see anyone with their sheep I always have a chat about them. I was chatting to a guy who has some Ryeland sheep the other day and by chance I knew them because my mate photographed some at the and I used them on my Leeds DP as guest pics. The farmer I spoke with said the way the market is he would get 50 pence per fleece so he burnt them on principle. Paul Leif Hagen 8 years ago Cute photo! I wonder how much wool could be cut to make yarn from that one sheep?! Michelle 8 years ago I’m guessing there’d be enough for a couple of jerseys 🙂 Tom 6 years ago I am looking for a sheep photo to put on the cover of my E book. Are your sheep photos for sale to be used this way or can I get permission to use one?
