Repeat after me: I am free

Go to work, send your kids to school, follow fashion, act normal, walk on the pavements, watch tv, save for your old age, obey the law. Repeat after me: I am free.

Spotted as I walked down Bedford Rowthis message has been spray painted onto the Avonmore College car park wall. I’m not sure if this was authorised or if someone just sprayed it on someday!

Tomorrow’s pic will be more inspiring I promise (as I found a great little message just around the corner down one of the lanes!).

    Quite interesting.

It looks like a pretty normal mantra to me, having grown up in the hippie era. The print is quite capable, which is more than I can say for what it would look like if I’d tried to write it.

I saw the same message just after Christmas on the Trade Union centre in Armagh Street. Proper graffiti with a message – not dog pee scribbles which are an insult to a very ancient tradition.

Monza, that’s interesting that it was on Armagh street as well. Makes me think it is just grafitti, but with a though provoking message – especially for a New Year. At the end of the day, freedom is very much a social construct.
