A Photo a Day of Christchurch New Zealand

Daffodil Woodland

The Daffodil Woodland in Hagley Park is a very special place – thousands of daffodils bloom amongst the trees and the long grass. Families come ever year and plonk their toddlers beside the daffodils for the compulsory photo. – I even heard one mum bribing her wee tots with the promise of an ice block if they stayed still while she took their photos! Hope it worked for her šŸ™‚

That’s a lot of daffodils James A McPherson had planted! You’re fortunate to have such a place as this close by, as it’s probably the only one of its kind on the planet!

I love the spring scenery you captured along the Avon too — beautiful and very tranquil.

Again, it appears you were ‘in the zone’ šŸ™‚
