Flower by the Estuary

Not sure what kind of flower this is, it’s growing by the estuary in Ferrymead. It’s quite a cheerful plant though – it must be, it made me stop and photograph it!

Opawa Church Sign

This sign is in front of the Opawa Community Church. The church was damaged due to the earthquakes. So I guess the sign has rather a double meaning….Whenever I see the sign I imagine a long-haired Hollywood version of Jesus saying this with an Austrian accent!

Balloons at the Farmers entrance Palms Shirley Mall
