pavillion

This is the Pallet Pavilion by the Gap Filler – it’s clearly a labour of love by many volunteers. It’s located on the site of the Crowne Plaza Hotel – which was demolished this year. There are events being held at the pavillion with musicians playing live music. I’ve not seen it lit up, but apparently it’s quite impressive.

One thing that stood out for me is the quality of the pine used for these pallets. I can only wonder what the ‘good’ pine must look like as NZ must be sitting on a gold mine for quality pine!
