Rising Tide Mural on Gloucester Street

Rising Tide mural is on the Sampan House Restaurant building on Gloucester Street (facing Manchester Street). The excerpt in the mural is from the Rising Tide book – part of a series of books written in response to the Christchurch earthquakes. The mural is by artist Richard “Pops” Baker.


Bumble Bee at the Bus Stop on Bridle Path Road

I’m not sure how long this mural has been at the bus stop in Heathcote (on Bridle Path Road), but I only noticed it today. It was a nice bright spot on a cloudy late winter day. The artist credit on the mural is Flip Leylen.

Ducks Mural on Southwark Street

I’ve never seen these ducks before, but then I don’t have a lot of reason to go down Southwark street, so I have no idea how long they’ve been there, or why they are there. They are an interesting curiosity to me!

Lips Mural on Peterborough Street

This new mural is on Peterborough Street opposite the Casino. It’s on the back wall of the Bog Pub and is by French artist Tilt.
